Romany is the last foal out of our foundation mare Rodan's Princess xx (aka Electra) and was born in 2006. He is a very elegant, yet still rather lanky grey and is developing into a highly versatile, all around sport horse. We're eager to see him start his under saddle career in 2009.

The sire Raffaello was approved in Verden in Germany, 1999 and was counted among the best jumpers of that event. He finished an outstanding 100 day test and scores 9s for his temperament, willingness to work, ability to work, character and jumping, placing him 4th out of 37 stallions in the jumping component of his test. In 2005, his first season in competition, Raffaello competed successfully and won his first jumping Championship. He was also in the ribbons at the Pacific Regional Dressage Championship Show. Since then, he has shown successfully in A rated Hunters and is now campaigned in dressage by an amateur rider. Raffaello is also approved for the Hanoverian Show Jumper program. His famous sire Raphael sired numerous top level international jumping and dressage horses including Rio Grande, Radiator, Robinson, Ravallo, Raggazzo and others. On the dam side, the bloodlines of several internationally proven show jumper stallions weigh in. Raffaello's dam, Fiola, is by Foxhunter (Spruce Meadows), who produced Fortunas (an Olympian in show jumping in Athens 2004). Foxhunter's sire Watzmann produced an Olympic gold medallist for Germany, Franke Sloothaak's Walzerkönig. The outstanding bloodlines of Inschallah AA and Absatz/Abglanz (Trak) further enhance this pedigree. In the falling dam line, the impeccable Hanoverian stallion Don Juan appears - from the same blood line as one of the world's most outstanding show jumpers ever, the mare Dollar Girl.
